Shinohara Asuma - autographed by Keroberus1977 Shinohara Asuma - autographed by Keroberus1977
Shinohara Asuma done in marker on comic paper (I couldn't find better paper!) and signed by his seiyuu (voice actor) Toshio Furukawa himself at AX2011!! OMG I was totally geeking out in line and managed an "Onegaishimasu!" when I handed it to him. He asked me if I drew it myself and I was sweating and blushing when I managed a "Hai!" He seemed impressed. I then blubbered an "Arigato gozaimas!" He probably thinks I'm a fan dork. He's probably right. T_T

sorry! I was so excited I didn't even look where I was posting! Will b more careful next time! I'm sure everyone in line with me (all guys btw) were laughing at me but it was well worth it. Furukawa-san probably thinks I'm a nut. heh. *shrugs*

No! Why would they laugh? Of course, this is priceless. I'm sure Furukawa really liked your drawing. I mean, he must, come on!!! It's Patlabor!! :D:D:D

They were laughing because I was a total dork. sigh. Even my friend, whom I asked to stand in line with me, had to tell me to calm down. I was like in hyper mode or something. :-D I can't help it. I get this way when I meet seiyuu. ESPECIALLY PATLABOR!! OMG how many years have I loved PATLABOR?? more than a decade, I think! I think he liked it...he even wrote "Patlabor" at the top for me.

Well, maybe your were, like you said, "in hyper mode or sth" but that's nice! You were really excited, there's nothing silly about that! :D
Yeah, I don't remember for how many years I have loved Patlabor... it started when it was being broadcasted on Fox Kids... ^^

Oh man, I think I'm older than you, b/c I remember when Patlabor (the original OVA before the TV series) was released by CPM (no longer existing) on VHS!! I became a fan when an English dub was non-existent and collected the 22 vol. manga overseas back in 1998 b/c manga didn't exist in the US... gah, I'm old!

Ha, ha... yeah, I think you're much older than me... I just saw the TV series and the the showed the first 2 movies!! I couldn't believe it!! Then I did some research and found out about the two OVA series... unfortunately the manga didn't get here (Argentina), though there is a spanish version but just covering the first 11 vols. :(
